Since its establishment in 2001, BPA is acting as the sole voice of Physiotherapists in Bangladesh. The organization has been working in knowledge, skill & moral development, legal protection in practice, the formation of the council, college, elite professional status, and government employment. So far, we are succeeded to some extent but the ultimate achievement is yet to be accomplished. We need to work together, harder than ever with the utmost courage, respect, and patriotism.

Bangladesh Physiotherapy Association played a crucial role in advocacy towards the establishment of Bangladesh rehabilitation council act 2018; the regulatory body for physiotherapy professionals in Bangladesh. BPA is working to uphold the rights, autonomy, and professional dignity of Bangladeshi physiotherapists. As a proud member organization of WCPT, BPA is continuing its endless effort to ensure quality entry-level education, post-graduation facilities and facilitate research nationally and in the global context.
